Michele's Fitness Journey- introduction

Holiday meal that I prepared that fits my nutritional needs

Hi Friends, thank you for all your support! I can feel the love of the community and you are appreciated!

In 2022 I hired a Registered Dietitian to work on my health. I spent the year improving my diet, managing stress, and taking time for my running. I had a significant weight loss, finished a marathon in a time I was happy with, and my overall health has greatly improved. I believe trail running is for all bodies. While I never quit enjoying running and hiking trails, the nutritional and mental improvements I have made have translated to feeling better on the trails.

The night before Tunnel Hill marathon. What will I do for 2023?

I appreciate everyone asking about my fitness journey. I want everyone to feel good and enjoy life. If my journey can help you then I am there for it. I will be uploading videos to share recipes, training and the fun things that have been working for me with.

Movement feels good. Whatever your fitness level is I encourage you to get outside and run, walk, hike & move to improve your overall mental and physical health. Good nutrition is helpful in our bodies being strong to enjoy these activities.

My approach is simple basic food. I food prep so I can make healthy choices quickly. If you have anything you want to learn about my journey or have questions I love to hear about it. Leave comments below on what you want to see me do next. I will read all your comments and create informative content on what I am doing.

My videos and blog are for entertainment purposes. I share what works for me. I suggest working with a Registered Dietitian to find what would work best for you.
